Life is the art of drawing without an eraser ~ John W. Gardner

The Time Traveler’s Wife

Knew it was a novel-based movie. Didn’t bother to watch it back then ’cause I thought it would be boring. Hehe. Furthermore, Andrew doesn’t like romance.

Well, the mood just struck me last night and I just wanted to watch a movie. Looking through the list on PPS…… Ooohhh….. Suddenly this one seemed interesting.

Oh my, I was weeping and sobbing all the way through the end of the movie! So touching! Or maybe I was pretty emotional last night. Luckily Andrew was already asleep.

It is sad to see and know that how the movie related so closely to real life relationships. The fact that when sometimes you needed someone the most, they just couldn’t be there for reasons that they couldn’t control. We are often left alone or stay behind, waiting for that someone to come. The waiting is always painful.

We always wish we could time travel, so that we could do things differently and change the history. Well, perhaps history is meant to stay the way it is and there’s nothing we can do to change it.

There are a lot of beautiful scenes in the movie. Can’t believe it was the same director who directed RED.
