快乐时间总是过的特别快。Our Taiwan trip has finally come to an end. For the 8 days we spent in Taipei, never had we thought of our hectic life in Malaysia. All our problems didn’t seem to bother us any more. We were so happy travelling, eating and having fun together. The only problem we had was, not enough of money. Hahaha.
Did our check-out, had our breakfast in McDonald’s (it has become our ritual to try the fast-food in different countries) and took a final stroll in Ximending.
Around 12pm, we were already on the FreeGo bus to Taoyuan International Airport. Can’t believe that we bought quite a lot of stuff in the airport too! Each of us girls got ourselves a Coach bag! LOL!
The streets are so empty in the morning! Total opposite of the night!
The weather was nice that morning, not too cold. :) Someone’s acting cool here. :P
It was so relaxing on our last day!
We shopped a lot in 7-Eleven, they were giving out stickers and if you collect all of them in one coupon, you get to purchase a small mascot figurine at a very cheap price. I can’t remember the mascot is for what event. Too bad, they only allow booking now and collect the figurines in April 2010! We can’t be coming back for the figurines, right? :( See our disappointing faces? So, we keep the stickers for memory.
Why is Alex smiling so happily in front of those machines??? Kakaka.
Back to where we first started. :)
A very famous and new hotel, but I forgot the name. Do leave a comment if you know.
I’m leaving, on a jet plane. Don’t know when I’ll be back again. :(
When are we going to visit Taiwan again? I don’t know. Hopefully soon. I miss Taiwan terribly, especially after my Hong Kong trip.
Seeing my sister is going to Taiwan next month for 10 days, I feel so jealous! Wish I could follow her and she too wishes I could go with her. Sigh……
Am really missing Taiwan badly.
Finally, finished my Taiwan posts. :)
Hi Ashley, would like to ask how did you get from XMD to Taoyuan Airport? I mean, did you have to prebook your Freego bus tickets? Thank you!
Hi Vin,
Nope, I did not prebook the bus tickets. Other than Freego, I believe there are also other bus operators that you will get to choose. :) They’re all at the same place, and you can compare prices before you buy.
Hi Ashley, thanks for replying! I see; could you share how you got the bus tickets to airport then? I need to leave for Taoyuan airport from XMD by about 1pm.. Feeling very lost not sure what’s the best way other than taking cab.. Thanks!
Hi Vin, you’re most welcome.
I got the return bus tickets from FreeGo when I bought the tickets in the airport. Most of them offer return tickets. You will need to tell the counter what time your flight is and they will be able to help you with the tickets and the time to pick you up from your hotel.
Good luck. :)
Thanks for the useful information you provided on your blog. About the hotel you mentioned, it is the Grand Hotel. It’s quite old actually. Some information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Hotel_(Taipei)
Hi Alex, thank you so much for telling me that! :) Gosh, I didn’t know the hotel has been that old. Only remember seeing it in a Korean drama last year and I thought it was still new. :P Pardon my ignorant. Thank you!
